Best Low-Range Robotic Pool Cleaners of 2024

Here are the Top Robotic cleaners based on my testing.  I tried each one in various pools and different levels of debris. The ranking is based on many factors and some, of course, are better than others. But there are also factors such as cost, weight, and features such as a remote control and how low they filter down to in particle size known as microns. A standard D.E. pool filter will filter down to 3-5 microns, a cartridge filter down to 10-20 microns -so you get the idea of how well a cleaner will filter and trap debris. So the ranking is based on these factors as well as other reviews from customers who have the cleaner.   No one pays me for my reviews and I don't work for any of the companies so the rankings are as unbiased as they can be.

Here are the Robotic Pool Cleaners priced around $500 or less making them similar in price to a high-end suction side cleaner. They are good entry level cleaners and if you are on a budget this is the category for you. Even though the price point is low these are still great cleaners that offer a lot of great features.

Best Low-Range Robotic Pool Cleaners

#2 Hayward SharkVac

The SharVac is a good entry level robotic cleaner priced in the low mid-range. It is a top loading cleaner with cartridge filters that can clean down to 5 microns. The lower priced model just cleans the floors and coves of the pool. They do make a more pricey version that cleans to the waterline and has a beach entry sensor. But this standard model has a 2-hour timer and works well.  It comes with a one year warranty.

Pros: Top loading debris chamber, great cleaning pattern, easy to use, front scrub brush.
