I'm trying to locate the recirculation setting on my pipes to bypass my Hayward cartridge filter in order to fix a leak. I see only one main pipe leading from my pump to the filter and the valve connecting them. There are no clear markings on the valve to tell me which direction to rotate for recirculation but not sure how that would help since there is only one pipe leading in and one pipe leading out from filter. Should I just remove the cartridges and let the sealant freely run through the filter tank, unobstructed?
