Until now...
There has not been a way of assuring the public that a pool service technician knows what he is doing.
Anybody can buy some chemicals, some equipment and say they are a service tech.
Some health authorities and State licensing agencies have required criteria.
Now PCTI has a course and a certification program for residential service techs.
We offer credentials for service techs who take the course and pass the exam.
PCC-R graduates offer customers assurance that they know and understand residential pool chemistry.

Today, our pool chemistry books have evolved into something greater – successful pool training courses that can provide pool chemistry certification for service professionals who wish to show their earned credentials to prospective and existing customers.
As we have personally planned and organized our pool training courses for those wishing to have pool chemistry certification, we were able to make them easy to understand and learn, and eventually to implement.
If you consider yourself a novice or an intermediate pool service tech, then our well-planned 1-Day Pool Chemistry Certified – Residential (PCC-R) course will give you the skill set that you need to become an expert. Our founders, Robert Lowry and Greg Garrett have almost 100 years of experience in the pool industry and gladly pass along their expertise and insight that they have acquired over the years.
*Note there are 2 books required for the course. You can order them below.
