Is it Safe to Swim in my Pool or Spa?

Can the COVID-19 virus spread through pools and hot tubs?

There is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g., with chlorine and bromine) of pools and hot tubs should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19. - Source CDC

Special Alert!: COVID-19 and Pool Service
Companies: Essential Business Designation

During the current COVID-19 virus crisis it is my hope that everyone and their families are safe and healthy. Second, this is going to impact all of us financially so I know things are going to be very tough for all of us going forward. Hang in there, we are all in this together.

The important thing is to stay safe and prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus so that the lockdown can end and we can resume life as normal as it will be moving forward.

If you do pool service here are some resources that I think will allow us to continue working under the "Essential Services/Essential Business Designation." These links should help you reassure your clients as well as yourself.

Here are some links to documentation that pool service is an essential business.
