Three of the five jets on our inground pool are not putting out water. They are all on the same end of the L- shaped pool. The other two jets seem to be fine. PSI is around 25 after a backwash. I suspect more clogging.... how can I check?
If it is not a Sand filter try doing a complete cleaning of the filter to see if the increases the flow would be the first step. To see if there is a blockage on the return side the filter PSI is a good indicator. If there is a blockage when you turn on the pump for the first time the filter PSI will spike and then drop down. A blockage will also effect the pool suction so you would have a loss of suction also.
What chlorine is better for a pool route? Liquid chlorine or cal-hypo? More economical of course. What are the must have chemicals we should carry at all times? Which ones should I buy at the shop if it's the first time I'm buying to load up the truck with the chemicalschemicals? Thank you.
Here is the order I suggest. Liquid Chlorine, Cal Hypo, Dichlor and Trichlor shock. I just did a Podcast on the pros and cons of each. You may want to tune in to that one: https://www.buzzsprout.com/admin/episodes/810432-episode-63-what-type-of-chlorine-is-best-for-my-pool
